October is breast cancer awareness month. Early detection with screenings is important as well as supporting research to continue the fight against this disease that impacts 1 out of every 8 women.
Hard Rock International participates in this month’s PINKTOBER® awareness campaign supporting breast cancer research with a month-long special menu and limited edition merchandising where the portion of the proceeds go to the Hard Rock Heals Foundation® to benefit cancer research. The entire month the Hard Rock Cafe in Florence will be lit up in pink every evening.
In addition, on Sunday, October 17, the Florence Cafe will host an evening fundraiser for the Italian Association of Cancer Research (AIRC) with a special dinner and musical and dance show based on Broadway’s favorite songs.
Several dancers from the Compagnia di Corrado Abbati – 2 singers and 4 dancers – will perform “Stelle di Broadway – Broadway Stars Night“, a cheoreographed dance and musical show that features many of the most famous songs from Broadway musicals. Hits such as Frank Sinastra’s “My Way”, Fred Astaire and Ginger Roger’s “Cheek to Cheek” and many more to take you to Broadway. While you’re enjoying the show, you can enjoy the special dinner menu that includes an appetizer, a main course where you can choose among the most popular Hard Rock burgers, ice cream for dessert and a drink. The show is at 7pm, with a replica at 9.30pm.
