As has become an annual holiday tradition, the Hard Rock Cafe is hosting it’s Christmas Family afternoon on Sunday, December 11! From 4-6pm, the restaurant will welcome kids of all ages and their parents with a show by the Pupi di Stac group which specializes in children’s storytelling shows, often with puppets. A special afternoon snack buffet will include both savory and sweet offerings.
Entertainment for the afternoon
For this special Christmas event, both children and their parents will be entertained by the Pupi di Stac group who will put on their first Christmas show called “Finalmente…. NATALE!” The show, while in Italian, should be accessible for children who don’t speak the language, as the show guides the audience through an Advent calendar, opening windows and revealing fun surprises. The show will last about 50 minutes and will alternate between storytelling narration and performances.
Another fun part of the afternoon will be face painting for all the kids provided by RockAndPainting by Laura Colangelo, from 4 to 6pm.
The yummy treats
The event has a special buffet offering both savory and sweet treats. From bacon and scrambled eggs, sausages and baked beans to an assortment of brioches, mini apple cobbler and brownies, pancakes and cookies. Drinks will include fruit juices, coffee and tea. There will also be a variety of fresh fruit as well as jams, mini baguettes and yogurt for those that prefer those options.
Most important detail: there is a special “gluten-free” corner at the buffet so everyone should find something they can enjoy.
Cost for the afternoon and buffet are as follows: kids under 10 pay €15 while kids over 10 and adults pay €20. Kids under 2 are free. All kids need to be accompanied by at least one adult.
