Last year’s edition was a great success so this summer it’s back!
The cool initiative called “A roof with a view” is back this summer, including the photographic contest to to win a trip back to Florence! The most beautiful terraces of hotels and restaurants in Florence open their doors to the public until September 30, 2012 offering breathtaking cityscapes: those who will be able to catch the best panorama win a holiday back in Florence.
You can choose to take pics with Instagram, using the hashtag #tcv2012, which collects all the photos of the contest on Followgram, or to take traditional photographs and share them on Facebook.
If you find that pics cannot catch the magical atmosphere of such panoramas, no problem: this year a YouTube channel has been created where you can upload your short videos.
The contest will give a prize for each category!
The prize? A holiday in Florence of course!

Some of the terraces which take part in the initiative also offer the chance to enjoy an aperitivo, dinner or a drink surrounded by the atmosphere of this unique city.
